Swedish Nut Cake

Having or incorporating nuts in any type of easy desserts recipe is a great idea due to the fact that nuts taste great in puddings. It might just be me but honestly if you like any type of nuts except peanuts, which to me only taste better without incorporating in anything, than you`ll love this easy desserts Swedish nut cake recipe. Ingredients:

  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

--TOPPING:--

  • 1 stick butter
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:


  1. Mix well. 
  2. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan for 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

TOPPING:

  1. Cream butter and cream cheese. 
  2. Add powdered sugar, stir in nuts and vanilla. 
  3. Will keep in refrigerator for several days or freezes well.
